From my counter mapping series where I explore ways of ‘mapping’ overtop of cartographic representations of land - This piece has beadwork over a Dent’s Canadian School Atlas page from a 1950’s edition. The unframed page is sewn to a linen backing and beaded with #10 beads. Size - 11.5 x 9.25 inches.. They walk a well beaten path is now a part of the Canadian Indigenous Art Centre collection.
