This piece is part of “INJUN-uity”, a body of work that investigates the connection between Canadian Indigenous identity and pop culture from the 1950’s, ‘60’s and ‘70’s.

I was one of 50 finalists in this Canadian national art prize competition in 2021 - This is my piece hanging in the final show. I was thrilled to see the red dot at the bottom left that indicates the piece is 'sold'.

Burden? at North show in Prince George, BC
The interactive piece Burden? at the North show during the Canada Winter Games in 2015. Viewers were invited to answer the question, "Burden?" when looking at the young Metis woman lying on the bearskin rug. Their answers were recorded right on the canvas. Diadem - 8ft Solar Lamp
Commissioned by Coca Cola for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, this 8ft lamp is covered in ravens soaring through Métis floral patterns. Materials: Fibreglass, acrylic, solar panel, lighting fixtures.
